I need a trackball as I'm a quadriplegic and don't have use of my fingers. I have went thru 3 of these in the past. After about a year the sensors under the ball start acting sketchy and eventually quit working. I am now using the older, light grey Expert Mouse from my desktop on my laptop that I bought about 10 years ago. It is now acting sketchy so I guess I will locate an older one of eBay as $99.99 is too rich for me.

“Okay Product but, Poor Support”
The mouse is okay, however I can't make a full judgement on it because the supporting software doesn't function with Windows 8.1. I had this problem about 4 months back when I had Windows 8. The "Trackball Works" support program always had an issue installing. This issue would cause the install to abort itself. I asked Kensington for help in this area, but I was told to connect sales, then sales told me to connect support, and then support told me to connect sales... So I waited until a revised support program was available. It looked like a new one was available, however, I now have Windows 8.1 and the same install problem continues. When I bought this it was $60, now it's $100. If I could have a re-do, I would NOT buy it. Of course it could be worth if the supporting software worked. Otherwise you can't change the settings of the mouse to meet your individual needs.

“Execellent Ergo Product”
I had a cyst and carp tunnel in my wrist from using the regular mice. That was 9 years ago and I have been using this ever since. I use it all day long and my wrist problem is solved. I would highly recommend me, give a few days to get use to and you will never want to use a regular mouse again
