Master Keyed: Administrator access with user keys

Give individual employees the power to protect their laptops. Personal locks let employees work on- or off-site and protect laptops no matter where they do business—in a conference room, home office or in the airport. With a master key, your IT staff retains universal access to unlock any piece of equipment for upgrades, relocation or replacement. Master keys also offer a quick and easy solution for misplaced or lost keys requiring new locks.

Give your office or lab a layer of security without restricting employee access. Shared, identical locks and keys protect your equipment from nonemployee theft, while giving key holders full access. Stretch departmental budgets by sharing nonessential equipment among an employee group. Shared access is ideal for specialized work environments where employees can check out laptops, A/V equipment and any other shared hardware themselves.

Master Coded Combination Lock Solutions

Combination locks are ideal for field based staff or remote locations where local IT support isn’t practical.  For this scenario we offer three solutions for administrators wishing to issue combination locks to their users whilst retaining administrative control.

  1. IT administration suite.  Register all lock codes online for easy code retrieval in the event of a forgotten combination code
  2. Preset Combination Locks.  Preset locks have randomly selected codes known only the user and the administrator.  A web based tool keeps track of the codes for the administrator.
  3. Master Coded Combination Locks.  Master Coded locks allow the user to set their own unique combination code.  Administrators can overcome the users code using a ComboGenie and a master code made available only to them.
