Kensington Names Matt Dargis Vice President of U.S. Sales

20+ Year Veteran of Etail, Retail, VAR, DMR, OEM, and Distribution Space Joins Desktop Computing Accessories and Mobility Solutions Leader

Kensington®, a worldwide leader of desktop computing and mobility solutions for IT, business and home office professionals and The Professionals’ Choice, today announced that Matthew J. Dargis has joined the company as Vice President of U.S. Sales, reporting directly to Kensington Vice President Ben Thacker. With more than two decades of experience in etail, retail, VAR, DMR, OEM, distribution, channel marketing and direct online sales, Dargis will be responsible for helping to drive Kensington’s growth and leadership in the U.S. market, furthering channel and strategic partner relationships, and enhancing product development based on direct channel and end user feedback.

With an entrepreneur spirit backed by key established channel and end client relationships, Dargis is a seasoned IT industry executive with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, superior market knowledge, and exemplary team building and managerial skills. Prior to joining Kensington, Dargis served as Vice President, Americas Channel for ZYXEL Communications, Inc. where he rebuilt the North America sales team and created a new go-to-market strategy and three-year plan designed to improve GP. Before that, he joined Buffalo Americas, Inc. as Executive Vice President, COO, where he was responsible for building new sales and marketing teams and expanding internationally. Dargis has also served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at ioSafe, Inc., and held senior sales and marketing positions with NETGEAR, Inc. and D-Link Systems, Inc. Dargis attended the University of St. Thomas where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Computer Science.
