Kensington, a worldwide leader in delivering smart. safe. simple. desktop and mobile computing accessories, today announced it will showcase its newly announced SD4000 Universal USB Docking Station for 4K monitors, as well as other computing accessories at CE WEEK New York, June 24-25 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Kensington will also launch at the event a new rugged case, not yet announced, for one of the industry’s most popular business tablets. CE WEEK is New York’s largest technology show with more than 3,000 attendees perusing the hottest technology and trends for the upcoming back-to-school and holiday season.

The following Kensington products will be featured at CE WEEK New York:

SD4000 Universal USB Docking Station (K33983AM) $229.99

With the average selling price of 4K monitors trending down, it’s becoming far more affordable for businesses to upgrade their current systems and integrate the increasingly popular high-definition technology. Kensington’s SD4000 Universal USB Docking Station enables business users to leverage 4K (3840 x 2160) Ultra High Definition (UHD) monitors with their current laptop or tablet. Previously reserved for fields such as digital television and digital cinematography, the new Kensington SD4000 Universal Docking Station is one of the first USB docking stations on the market that supports 4K output via HDMI or DisplayPort, providing general purpose business users unsurpassed compatibility. The new SD4000 also supports dual 2K monitor set-up, which when combined with its ability to also support larger sized monitors, enables users to dramatically increase productivity.

KP400 Switchable Keyboard (K72322US) $69.99

Today’s users need to type on a variety of devices, from their Windows PC to tablets and smartphones, running on different operating systems such as Android or iOS. With the ability to alternate between wired and Bluetooth connectivity, the Kensington KP400 Switchable Keyboard lets office computer users work with a laptop, a tablet, or even a smartphone together so that they can take productivity to a new level. The keyboard is full-sized and includes a numeric keypad, providing a professional typing experience regardless of the device it’s used with. The keyboard comes with standard Windows layout that users are already familiar with, so the user can install the keyboard with confidence and start using it immediately.

MP230L Wireless Performance Mouse (K72453WW) $49.99

The MP230L Performance Mouse for Windows® and Mac® delivers a combination of wireless freedom and precision tracking on even the most difficult surfaces. A unique track-on-glass sensor uses a high-definition laser that follows the user’s hand movements on a wide variety of desk surfaces. The 2.4GHz wireless connection via a USB nano receiver eliminates cords that can lead to desktop clutter. The mouse is full-sized, offering complete comfort in an ergonomic, ambidextrous design that’s ideal for either right-handed or left-handed users. In addition to the traditional two-button and scroll wheel layout, side buttons offer quicker browser navigation. DPI adjustment buttons allow the user to control the cursor tracking speed. Plug & Play installation enables instant use.

MiniSaver Mobile Lock (K67890WW) $59.99

With mobility devices getting slimmer and lighter, professional-grade security for ultra-thin devices is difficult to find. As the leading brand in security locks for laptops, Kensington has designed the MiniSaver Mobile Lock to secure modern ultra-thin devices like Ultrabooks and tablets that otherwise would be left vulnerable to theft when users are at the desk or on the go. The MiniSaver features Cleat Locking Technology, which can be inserted into any device that includes either the Kensington Security Slot or the Kensington Mini Security Slot. The off-body design means the Cleat won’t interfere with adjoining cables and the push-button activation is simple to use and can be engaged without the key. The pivot and rotate cable offers better freedom of movement and eliminates awkward angles. It’s also engineered from carbon steel, making it resistant to cutting and theft attempts.

Kensington’s products will be featured at CE WEEK New York, June 24-25 at table #156. The event will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.
