The new Lenovo Company is comprised of IBM's PC Division and the Lenovo Group Limited. The merger of the two companies was formally announced on May 1, 2005.

Kensington and Lenovo's Branded Options team will continue to work together on developing and bringing to market the best of laptop security and laptop accessories that their customers value so highly, while maintaining the excellent service and support that each company is known for. Additionally Kensington's partnership with the newly formed Lenovo Group allows both companies to build upon each other's well-known brand names, deep product line offerings and leading R&D capabilities.
