Welcome to KensingtonWorks. In this video, we'll take you through the basic setup and some of the key features of KensingtonWorks software. Because KensingtonWorks is compatible with so many devices, yours might be different than what you see here, so some features may be available or unavailable to you based on your device. We encourage you to explore and have fun with the software. Once the software is installed, go ahead and open the application. KensingtonWorks will detect the Kensington device you're using. If you don't see your device or you'd like to add more devices, click the home button at the bottom left. There you can scroll through all the KensingtonWorks compatible devices and add whichever you'd like as long as it's connected. From the home screen, click on your device at the top to start personalizing your device. Here we're using an expert wireless trackball, but whichever device you're using you'll see a layout with its various buttons, ball, wheel, etc. Each of these can be customized to perform a specific function, and what's more, each customized function can be assigned to a specific application. So, for example, when using a mouse and keyboard, we'll assign the command function to the right click button. If you'd like to add an application, simply click 'all applications' at the top and click on the plus sign next to applications. Click on the application you'd like to add. Here, we'll add Google Chrome. Each button has multiple options. Now we can customize a trackball for when we're working in Chrome. You can customize your pointer by clicking the box on the left. Here you can adjust its speed, acceleration, and movement. Click the scrolling button on the left to change your speed and orientation. Perhaps you share a desk or device. KensingtonWorks offers a couple of ways for you to backup your settings, so your preferences are always at hand. To backup your settings to a file on your computer, click the menu icon on the top right, and then 'backup setting.' Here you can backup to a file or the cloud. You can also backup to Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive by clicking the bind to cloud button on the top left. At any time, if you'd like to reset your settings, simply click the 'restore defaults' button. If you do run into issues, rest assured. Connect Tutor is ready to help. Thanks for using KensingtonWorks. Enjoy.
