Kensington takes home ‘Best Product: Accessories’ at prestigious European ceremony
Kensington, the computer accessories company, was announced as winner in the category, 'Best Product: Accessories', at the Best of RetailVision Europe Awards, held in Barcelona last week.
The Best of RetailVision Europe Awards, held during RetailVision Europe, sees leading retailers and distributors in the European PC and consumer electronics marketplace recognise vendor companies for their technology innovation and channel strategies.
Kensington beat off strong competition from more than 105 vendors including Belkin, Griffin, Monster, Dicota, Trust and Tucano.
"This is an important milestone in the implementation of Kensington's channel strategy," said Phil O'Neill, managing director at Kensington Europe. "Two years ago Kensington products were hardly present in European retail stores, but today, we estimate we are in more than 2,000 outlets in the main markets. After this award I am confident of not only increasing visibility of Kensington products, but also the penetration and sales in those stores."
