Can I use different ball of the same size for my SlimBlade Trackball model 72327?

No, the SlimBlade Trackball control ball has been designed with unique reflective qualities for optimum tracking performance. A different ball may not provide sufficient tracking details to provide a good user experience.

The control ball in my SlimBlade Trackball does not roll smoothly in the housing after I cleaned it with soap and water. What can I do?

Please roll the control ball in the palm of your hands for approximately 30 seconds to replace a thin coat of lubrication onto the control ball. The ball actually works best when it is lubricated with a thin amount of natural lubrication which is transferred from your hand. The ball should not be cleaned with water, alcohol, or other cleaners, as this will completely remove the lubrication from the ball.
