Kensington Technology Group, a leading maker of accessories that enhance the lifestyle of the Digitally Active™, today announced that its new Laptop Desktop USB was named by CES 2005 as an Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase honoree in the Computer Accessories category
The Kensington Laptop Desktop USB, along with the other honorees, will be on special display in the prestigious Innovations Plus area located in CES Central Plaza at the 2005 International CES being held on January 6-9, 2005 in Las Vegas. It will also be showcased at the Kensington booth (# 36438) in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Designed for laptops 16" and smaller, the Laptop Desktop USB is a space saving and money saving solution for everyone from students living at home or in a dorm to the home/office entrepreneur to the office road warrior. Users simply slip their laptop computer into an attractive, glove-like holder that doubles as a docking station. By using a separate keyboard and mouse that connects directly to the Laptop Desktop USB, laptop users effectively convert their mobile PC into a slim desktop computer, complete with a screen that is automatically raised for optimal viewing and ergonomic adjustability. In addition to eliminating the need for bulky desktop monitors, the Laptop Desktop USB offers a built-in 4-port USB 2.0 hub that provides convenient one-time connection of additional accessories. Users can further customize their workspace by adjusting the unit's screen height, as well as through tilt and swivel features.
