ACCO Brands Corporation (NYSE: ABD), a world leader in select categories of branded office products, has received four industry awards from the Canadian Office Products Association (COPA). The awards collectively recognize the company's community service efforts, green products, and new product development process.

Because of their use of recycled materials and patented design, two ACCO Brands products were distinguished with COPA's "Green Product of the Year" award, including the Wilson Jones® recycled binder and the Quartet® ENVI white board. The Kensington® Slimblade Trackball received the "New Product Development" award for its innovative features and design.
ACCO Brands Canada was also awarded COPA's prestigious "Community Service Award of Excellence." The award recognizes an individual, corporate team or company for activities, initiatives or philanthropy that benefit their community in a noteworthy way, rather than directly benefiting the company.
ACCO Brands Canada was recognized for the company's voluntary "Power of Me" employee giving program, which has contributed more than 2,500 pounds of food to a local food bank and $50,000 in cash and products (backpacks, binders, and school supplies) to more than 10 local and national organizations including Breakfast for Learning, the Salvation Army, United Way and Future Possibilities for Kids
"The Power of Me program is a reflection of all the employees of ACCO Brands Canada, both salaried and hourly," Lovekin said. "Whether it's a few dollars for a fund-raising barbeque or an annual food drive, people are digging into their wallets to help those less fortunate.
