The Kensington Ultra Thin Notebook Power Adaptor powers the new mobile workforce!
Kensington predicts a rise in the number of freelance workers in the economic downturn will lead to a growth in business travel – though on a local, rather than international, level. As a result, Kensington, the mobile computing accessories company, has designed a range of ultimate travel accessories for the mobile worker.
The Wall / Air Ultra Thin Notebook Power Adapter can charge devices during flights on planes equipped with EmPower™ outlets. The inclusion of a USB port on the adaptor means it can charge numerous devices, like MP3 players and smart phones, alongside the notebook.
The Ultra Thin Notebook Power Adapters meet Energy Star’s latest 2009 accreditation criteria, which are even more stringent than in 2008. Energy Star accredited products are on average 30 per cent more energy efficient than conventional models.
And for style and comfort on the move, professionals can travel with the Contour Roller suitcase. The case has a specially designed SnugFit sleeve compartment, which protects laptops from drops and knocks. Created with maximum comfort in mind, the telescoping handle shifts weight onto the wheels for easier roller navigation. The panel and weight distribution system reduces shoulder fatigue by more than a third.
A leaked memo from the UK’s Home Office predicts that laptop theft is set to rise in the next year, so professionals can protect their devices in conferences, hotel rooms and airport lounges, using the MicroSaver® DS Notebook Lock.
Finally, Kensington also offers a portable wireless Presenter mouse to help mobile workers appear, if not perform, as professionally as possible in meetings, even after long journeys. The SlimBlade™ Presenter Media Mouse puts in user in complete control of presentations, music and movies, as well as being compact, stylish and equipped with battery-saving features. Presenting with your own equipment immediately gives you the confidence.
“Our range of products is dedicated to making business travel as easy and convenient as possible. The driving principle at Kensington – of keeping things simple and smart – is manifested in every product,” said George Foot, Vice President Kensington Europe.
